Site Launch: Zoë
Categories

Zoë’s new site is one of Honey Butter’s template builds—it’s customized to feel uniquely her.
When Zoë, a well-loved London-based expat escort, came to me for a new website, she had one request: something that felt like her. Zoë has an incredible reputation—her reviews are glowing, and clients adore her for being sweet, friendly, and approachable. She wanted a website that reflected that energy, something bold but not too much.

My brain immediately went to pink and black. Normally, I steer clear of that combo—it’s been done a lot—but for Zoë, it felt right. The contrast between playful pink and strong black balanced the elements perfectly, capturing both her charm and confidence.
Designing a Bold Yet Approachable Logo
Since Zoë wanted to go by just her first name, I knew the typography had to do a lot of the work. The font needed to be bold but also inviting—something that exuded personality while remaining easygoing. After experimenting with different styles, I landed on a typeface that was both striking and fun, reinforcing the site’s overall vibe.

Bringing Playfulness to the Experience
Beyond just the colors and typography, I wanted the site to feel whimsical and engaging. I had a blast playing with patterns—digging through CSS background styles, testing different layouts, and ultimately finding some amazing ones that added depth without being overwhelming.

And then there’s the page transition. Smooth, dynamic, but never distracting, it keeps the experience fluid as visitors explore the site. The desktop landing page is another favorite—complete with a Union Jack overlay that immediately ties Zoë’s expat story into the design in a subtle but stylish way.
A Seamless and Fun Mobile Experience
Of course, no site is complete without an effortless mobile experience. I made sure Zoë’s site was easy to navigate, fun to interact with, and just as charming on a phone as it is on a desktop.

The Perfect Collaboration
Working with Zoë was a dream—she had a clear vision but was also open to creative exploration. In the end, she loved the final outcome, both in terms of the website experience and the custom admin panel that makes managing everything a breeze.
