I’m thrilled to announce the launch of Olivia Paloma’s unique new website!

Working with Olivia was a creative journey like no other, and it’s always a pleasure to collaborate with someone who has such a clear vision of their brand. Olivia, a long-legged African queen from Congo, brought an inspiring energy to the project and wanted her website to reflect her heritage and individuality in every way.

Drawing Inspiration from Congolese Culture

From the very beginning, Olivia made it clear she wanted to celebrate her Congolese roots. Her vision was to weave a rich color story, bold patterns, distinctive fonts, and vibrant photography into the design. To bring this vision to life, I dove deep into Congolese culture, researching traditional patterns, textures, and typography that could capture the essence of her heritage while maintaining a modern edge. This exploration helped shape a website that is not only visually captivating but also deeply meaningful.

A Bold Departure from the Norm

Olivia’s goal was to create something entirely different from anything she had ever done before, and I embraced that challenge wholeheartedly. The result is a website that feels fresh, bold, and uniquely hers. One of the standout features is the desktop rates section, where I opted for a horizontal slider—a fun and unconventional way to present information that matches Olivia’s dynamic personality.

Playful Navigation and Interactive Elements

I also had some fun with the navigation. Instead of a traditional menu, the navigation slides onto the screen only after clicking the menu button, creating an element of surprise and delight. The interactivity doesn’t stop there—Olivia’s FAQ page was a particular labor of love. After many iterations and brainstorming sessions, I settled on GSAP-driven animations to make the page engaging and playful. The result is an experience that’s as fun to explore as it is functional.

A Celebration of Personality and Culture

Every detail of Olivia’s site reflects her vibrant personality and cultural pride. From the vivid colors to the intricate patterns, the site feels like a true celebration of who she is and where she comes from. Olivia knows her audience well and understands what they love about her—the African queen. It was an honor to collaborate with her on such a meaningful project, and I’m so excited to see how the site will resonate with her audience.
