Honey Butter

We’re Cooked

A few nights ago, I was watching one of my favorite YouTubers messing around with one of those wildly popular AI music generators. You know the drill – type in a vibe, feed it some lyrics, pick a genre, and 25 seconds later you’ve apparently become a songwriter.

Naturally, for absolutely no productive reason whatsoever, I decided to try it myself. So I took the intro copy from my website, dumped it into the service, and told it to create a corny country anthem.

And honestly?…it kind of slaps:

It gave me lines like:

“Codes clean as a prayer”

Which has absolutely no business going that hard.

Then it rolls into:

“Left brain, right brain
Both hands on the wheel
One eye on the glam
One hand on the deal”

One eye on the glam? Brilliant. And somehow the chorus arrived like a boot-stomping brand strategy manifesto:

“Make it sweet, make it bold
Honey Butter, Honey Butter
Turn that brand to gold”

I have absolutely nowhere to use this song. There is no scenario where a country anthem about design systems, branding, and front-end development becomes useful in my professional life.

And yet…pretty good.

What’s weird isn’t just that the music sounded decent. It’s how quickly it captured tone. We’re entering this bizarre era where AI can remix identity faster than most humans can open GarageBand.

Good (and scary) stuff.
