After a long time in the making (thanks to busy schedules on both sides), I’m thrilled to share that Marissa Beckham’s brand-new website is finally live!

From the very beginning, Marissa was a dream to work with. She came to me looking for a modern upgrade from her previous site—something that not only elevated the look and feel but also highlighted the stunning photography from her latest shoots. Her vision was clear: a dark, sophisticated palette paired with a clean, effortless design.

Design & Aesthetic

The site’s visual language is built around elegance and restraint. The logo features a refined extended sans serif font—minimal yet powerful—that exudes class and sophistication. Every detail was carefully chosen to reinforce the site’s sexy, polished, and modern tone.

Navigation & Flow

One of the stand-out design elements is the chrome that wraps around the content and remains fixed on desktop. This ensures that navigation and social links are always within reach—keeping the user grounded and giving the site a sleek, cinematic frame.

Hover effect FTW

My personal favorite detail? The nav link hover effect on desktop. As you hover, the featured image for that section seamlessly swaps in—tying the navigation directly to Marissa’s visuals. Pair that with smooth page transitions, and you get a browsing experience that feels fluid, intentional, and elevated.

Thoughtful Touches

To make the experience seamless, I built in previous and next page links at the bottom of each page—an elegant touch that makes exploring the site effortless while keeping the focus on Marissa’s story and visuals. And when it comes to longer content, thoughtfully placed tabs keep everything organized and save users from endless scrolling to find the details they’re after.

The Final Result

The ultimate goal was simple: a site that’s super clean, sexy, and classy. Something informative, easy to navigate, and so polished that the only question left in a visitor’s mind is—“When are you available?”

Congratulations to Marissa on this fresh chapter of her digital presence. I’m proud of what we built together, and I know visitors are going to love the experience just as much as I do.After a long time in the making (thanks to busy schedules on both sides), I’m thrilled to share that Marissa Beckham’s brand-new website is finally live! This one was absolutely worth the wait.
